This class is a continuation of our Introduction to Spanish Part I and II. You took your first steps with us earlier this year (or recently or somewhere else) and now you can’t stop!
While this is a class for beginners, it will be taught entirely in Spanish like all our other classes.
Students are already familiar with everyday expressions and have learned basic phrases aimed at the satisfaction of needs of a concrete nature. They can introduce themselves and others as well as ask and answer questions about personal details such as where they live, whom they know, what they own, what they like, etc. They are somewhat able to interact in a simple way provided the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is prepared to help. Students will continue to work on how to:
– use most frequently used regular verbs in the present tense (indicative mood).
– ask and answer questions
– describe themselves and others, their family life, work, etc.
– discuss their likes and dislikes (gustar)

Spanish – Advanced Beginning – Evening Class – In-Person
This class is a continuation of the beginning levels.
If you were comfortable in the Faux-Beginning class in previous sessions, this class might be for you. It is also a level we recommend for people who studied Spanish in high school, perhaps college and had a limited ability to converse in the present, perhaps past and future but have not used the language for a long time and feel very rusty. -
Spanish Private or Semi-Private Instruction
If you cannot find a group class, if your schedule does not enable you to attend regular weekly meetings or if you learn better in a one-on-one setting, you may want to consider private or semi-private instruction with one of our instructors.
