Reading in a foreign language is one of the most efficient ways to expand your vocabulary but if you are concerned you will not understand everything, you will have to look up too many words, and you will get frustrated… the task might seem a bit daunting.
Fear not!
We will choose entertaining reading material for you, short in length while rich in linguistic content, and adapted to your level to create an enjoyable, rewarding, and supported reading experience.
In this class, you will be asked to do a manageable amount of reading weekly and to prepare yourself to later discuss it in class. We will give you tools to help you circumvent the hurdles posed by authentic reading materials in Spanish, techniques to prepare yourself for weekly discussions, ways to identify vocabulary and grammar to commit to memory, and in the end we hope to afford you a pleasant and highly rewarding experience that will contribute to boost your confidence.
If you need conversation practice and are willing to do some weekly reading, let the adventure begin!
If you know that this is the right level/class for you, please sign up!
If you need assistance to determine if this class is right for you, we would be happy to help.
