Voyage au coeur de la Dordogne
In the spring of 2012, a group of ten students and four faculty/staff members discovered the beauties of the Southern region of the Dordogne department during a week-long immersion program. Staff and students stayed in a lovely 17th century “relais de poste” (a former coaching inn) restored to perfection to retain all its charm and explored the area around Sarlat-la-Caneda. Known for its prehistoric dwellings, its medieval castles, lovely wines and truffles, and overall “douceur de vivre,” the area was the perfect setting for learning to occur and new friendships to blossom.
